Carly & Tobin – 35mm Modern Spring Wedding In Chattanooga, Tennessee
Carly and Tobin’s modern, sleek wedding day had the prettiest spring pops of color, and I would photograph this day over and over again. Their wedding and reception was at the Common House in downtown Chattanooga, providing an intimate, warm space with a hint of nostalgia and cozy textures, making these 35mm film photos all the more fitting. Carly and Tobin were surrounded by close family and friends, creating an inviting, casual atmosphere peppered with pretty cocktails and lots of laughs. While driving home after the sendoff, I was flooded with bittersweet emotions — fulfilled by such a joyful day but simultaneously sad it was over. Since our first call, Carly and Tobin felt like and then really turned into friends, and I’m so thankful for such a life-giving experience getting to know and serve them. We shared a couple of meals together leading up to the wedding day, and it was in moments like these that I’m overcome with thankfulness for what I do. Being deeply appreciated and encouraged by my couples is such an honor, truly fulfilling and sustaining me through all the ups and downs of running a business. Since the beginning, Carly and Tobin have extended me such heartfelt kindness, warmth, intentionality, and a transparency I think about often. Here are some of my favorite images from their day despite how indecisive I was in narrowing them down.
