Kelly & Adam – Intimate Wedding In the Smoky Mountains In Tennessee
Amidst the lush Smoky Mountains, overlooking a valley, Kelly and Adam exchanged their vows in front of their very closest family and friends. This day marked not only their public ceremony but also eight years of dating. This day in late April was the first to kick off my long stretch of weddings running throughout the summer. What an incredible wedding to start with. I’m thrilled that Kelly and Adam trusted me to document their day, giving me space to be creative and capture their vows. Kelly and Adam were down for anything, so easy to photograph and natural in front of the camera. This slow, sweet day gave me the opportunity to focus even more intently on the little details and the smallest movements. Kelly wore an incredible pink, tulle robe to get in ready in and willingly hopped in the bathtub for some champagne portraits. She transitioned into her incredible Watters wedding gown, and you best believe I had her flip her skirt so.many.times. She carried a dried floral bouquet with white and pink hues. Their ceremony took place on a small deck overlooking the balcony with a greenery arch to frame the couple. Both of Kelly and Adam’s dogs laid right beside them during the ceremony, and one even nestled into Kelly’s skirt near the end. After the bride and groom portraits, everyone headed up to the cabin to start the reception. Throughout the night, I had more opportunities to photograph Kelly and Adam, especially after she switched into a white silk dress.
