Lindsey and Brian canceled their original wedding in Alabama and decided to have a small family ceremony in their hometown, Cleveland. Despite the downsizing and change in location, Lindsey and Brian’s wedding day was still perfect. With a quiet, lakefront ceremony and a lighthearted pizza party reception, the bride and groom joyfully celebrated with their closest family and friends. Upon my arrival to Lindsey’s house, her bridesmaids instantly befriended me; they were so uplifting and encouraging, and we all ended up exchanging Insta handles before the night was over. Such sweet bridesmaids reminded me of how excited I get to meet allll the best friends. The ceremony was held on a dock on the lake within Johnston Woods, and Brian’s grandfather initiated the ceremony. Afterwards, everyone went back to Lindsey’s house for pizza and beer. Overall, even though COVID-related adjustments had to be made, Lindsey and Brian proceeded with their wedding with pure joy, excitement, and thankfulness.
