Raeann and Evan’s wedding day in the Outer Banks was entirely lovely down to every detail. After photographing their engagement and dating anniversary sessions, the anticipation for their wedding day was high. I couldn’t wait to document their day alongside their most treasured family and friends, and just as I expected, their wedding was a dream. Raeann was so easygoing and giddy about her day, and many happy tears were shed during her first touch with Evan and her first look with her dad. The ceremony and reception was at the historic Whalehead Club in Corolla right along the water with a balmy late summer breeze coming off the bay. Raeann looked so elevated in her chic Anne Barge gown while carrying her stunning orchid-filled bouquet. The reception was held in a tent decorated with rattan lamps, beautiful florals from Renee Landry Events, and a bar stamped with their custom monogram shield. We had the prettiest golden hour for bride and groom portraits on the dock, and we used every last second of pretty light! After bridal portraits, Raeann changed into a short dress and gloves for her second outfit. They celebrated the rest of the evening with a champagne tower and plenty of dancing.
