This wedding marked a significant milestone in my career. When I started my business, my dream destination was Italy. Having lived there for nearly three years, Italy has a special place in my heart, so coming full circle like this was truly incredible. Taylor and Noah flew me across the Atlantic to photograph their intimate wedding at the beautiful venue Villa Le Capanne, tucked into the vast, rolling hills of Tuscany. Taylor planned her entire wedding herself and thoughtfully chose every detail. From the cute wedding guide she sent her family and friends, to the tour of Monterosola the day before the wedding, the personalized newspapers providing the schedule, a chosen color palette for all the guests, aperol spritzes served during the apertivo – Taylor and Noah’s wedding celebration was intentionally designed with much love and personality. Every corner of the villa was idyllic, perfect for photos. Taylor and Noah got married on a ridge overlooking the hills, and they enjoyed a multi-course dinner together at a large table outside. The florals and tablescape were a neutral color palette, complementing the earthy textures and tones of the venue. Their wedding was intimate, with less than thirty of their very closest family and friends, and created a cozy, garden party feel with soft lights and clinking glasses. For dessert, they created a traditional wedding cake together and enjoyed espressos afterwards. I remember tearing up, thinking how I was really there, really photographing a lovely couple in such a beautiful place. It was a tremendous honor to serve Taylor and Noah internationally, and I know I’ll be sharing photos from their wedding for forever.
