Julia and Brandon’s wedding at Waverly Estate was absolutely a highlight of my summer wedding season. Julia is one of the happiest brides I’ve photographed, and she had the most radiant smile all.day. She was incredibly laidback and giggly, creating the most joyful photos. Her bouquet was incredibly unique, featuring pampas grass, greenery, and dried florals. I asked her to take full advantage of her tulle Essense Of Australia gown by sweeping her skirt around multiple times. She and Brandon got married underneath a massive tree right outside the house. Waverly Estate is a historic wedding venue in Lunenburg, Virginia, and the owners recently built an airy, glass venue on the property. This new A-line space was perfect for a reception, offering lots of natural light but still shaded from the sun. I loved working with Sarah and her team at Waverly Estate and highly recommend them for any couples wanting an outdoor wedding with lots of greenery and natural spaces!
