I’m at a loss for words about Sophie and Brock and just how perfect their day was. I had met them several months earlier for their sunrise engagement session along the Blue Ridge Parkway. We instantly hit it off, and despite how windy and chilly that morning was, Sophie and Brock exuded a warmth and joy that made them feel like old friends. I was so excited for their wedding day outside Charlotte, North Carolina, and am honored to have celebrated them in such a permanent way. The whole day, Sophie and Brock were both so easygoing and lighthearted, smiling incessantly. Their images radiate the eagerness and love for each other, and photographing these two was incredibly easy and natural. These are my favorite wedding days – the days with tangible bliss, heartfelt vows, and happy tears. I’m so thankful to have spent the day with them and am constantly reminiscing about their day. “Mackenzie is the absolute best!! I booked Mackenzie as fast as I could when I came across her. She did my husband and I’s engagement shoot and just did our wedding and she did such an incredible job with both!! We haven’t even received our full gallery yet, but I already can’t stop looking at the sneak peeks. Truly a day does not go by that I don’t sit scrolling through all of our photos!! Her attention to detail is so amazing and she makes you feel so comfortable when shooting. Mackenzie has genuinely become a small part of my husband and I’s life and I am so sad it is slowly coming to an end.
